Absolute
Planet Description
This planet is named Absolute because the people who live here believe that they are absolutely the only place to exist. It doesn’t help that Absolute is at the center of its own galaxy, orbited by both its sun and its moon. This planet has experienced four major time periods:
The Age of Gods (AOG): This period represents the beginning of civilization on Absolute. It became populated by a horde of dragons who were kicked off of Plural for evolving a low tolerance of pain. The dragons further evolved into magicians who were able to bear the pain for them. While they started civilization on one island off the southern coast of the Continent, malcontent caused their society to splinter and scatter over the planet. Each new society birthed one god which then went on to watch over people for several centuries.
The Warring and Aggressive Nations Era (WANE): During this period, each of the societies formed in AOG have evolved into the distinctive peoples later to be known as Native Species of Absolute, each unique to the environment they call home. This is a time of war between the gods in which the peoples they serve are used as pawns in battle. Eventually, the nations band together to slay the gods, ushering in an era of peace and heroes.
The Great Continental Spread of International Peace (SOIP): After WANE, most nations of Absolute discontinued their armed services and military branches. The people had become tired of war. Heroes from WANE were recorded in place of gods with room for new heroes to follow. Only the nations of the tundra continue their aggression in SOIP, fighting over resources and territory among themselves. This era is also full of technological advancements, seeing trains rising to be the dominant mode of transportation across land and, later, sea.
The Modern Era (ME): Following the era of peace, the modern era has Absolute fully modernized with technology from computers to cell phones and even space travel, albeit an unconventional kind powered by some of the descendants of the dragons. In this era, Absolute joins the Universal Laws and gains Darma Council representation.
Technology Level
The technology level of Absolute varies depending on the time period. The AOG time period was the beginning of civilization. These societies were a lot more primitive, relying on the natural world for shelter and other resources. The main people were dragons and so any lengthy travel occurred on the wing. However, people stayed in relatively the same place during this time. The WANE period saw a lot more technological advancements around war machines. This is where sailing ships come into the picture along with cannons and other, medieval type weaponry. Following this, the SOIP (pronounced like “swap”) era is where Absolute entered into a sort of industrial revolution. Large factories appear in places such as the Continent and railroad tracks are laid across both the Continent and the desert. Near the end of this period, an international railway is also established, connecting the larger land masses by train. Absolute is a planet that relies exclusively on sea and rail travel; there are no airplanes, not even in the modern era. During ME, however, electricity has spread across Absolute, introducing cars, phones, and computers to the planet. The beginning of this era is marked by another global war and the advent of space travel.

The Sun: This is a small star (smaller than Absolute) that was pulled into orbit of the planet. This orbiting creates day and night for the planet.
